Production Notes
Overall, 2017 proved to be slightly smaller yielding vintage but of exceptional quality. Warm late summer temperatures led to a quick and intense harvest. Fruit was allowed to mature and ripen perfectly on the vines before harvest officially began.
Winemaker Notes
Winemaker Margo Van Staaveren has championed Malbec and believes the variety flourishes at selected Sonoma sites. It has become one of her favorite varietals to bottle. The Reserve Malbec shows diversity of Sonoma terroirs.
