Tasting Notes
The enticing dark fruit aromas of blackberry, boysenberry and plum are given depth by notes of clove spice and mocha. The rich palate has layers of flavors varying from ripe black fruit to dusty, dark chocolate. The wine is well-structured with incredibly smooth tannins and a lush, mouth-filling texture.
Vineyard Notes
After the lots were aged separately for more than 25 months in small French oak barrels, the most outstanding barrels were chosen and blended to create this 2016 Reserve Sonoma County Merlot.
