Vineyard Notes
The stunningly beautiful Gap’s Crown vineyard is located on the western edge of Sonoma Mountain in the
Petaluma Gap and ranges in elevation from 300’ to 840’. The vineyard is heavily influenced by cool ocean
breezes and a natural fog pocket that stalls over the vineyard.
Production Notes
Record rainfall in winter and May showers filled the aquifers and refreshed soils while a cooler than normal spring slowed down growth. The summer was long, warm and even with very few extreme heat
spikes allowing the grapes to ripen slowly while preserving the integrity of the grapes.
