2019 Chateau St. Jean Reserve Pinot Noir, Sonoma County

This wine opens up with a touch floral on the nose. On the pallet, one can detect flavors of strawberry and dark black cherry, along with ripe plums and raspberry. Mineral notes are joined by black tea, baking spice and cardamom. The wine is medium to full bodied, with solid acidity and evident tannins. A strong structured leads to a lingering and notable finish.
